BROADWAY BALL 2008

The Board of Trustees of the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center will host their fall fund-raising event, the Broadway Ball 2008 on Sat., Oct. 11th. Kicking off the 2008-2009 Broadway season, the event celebrates the hit musical The Rat Pack — Live at the Sands. Highlights of this black-tie evening include a Las Vegas atmosphere during the cocktail hour, a gourmet dinner, wonderful live auction items and dancing to the big band sounds of those legendary performers — all on Carol Morsani Hall stage. 

Since its inception, the Broadway Ball has raised more than $1 million to support TBPAC’s programs, including innovative classes at the Patel Conservatory in all performing arts disciplines, first-class performances and off-site outreach activities to underserved areas. Each day at TBPAC artists and audiences, students and teachers discover the life-changing impact that the arts can make.
